ダラーラ製の新型インディライツシャシーの「IL-15」が発表されました。今年でシリーズスタート30周年を迎えるインディライツシリーズですが、2002年から12年間使用されてきたダラーラシャシーに代わる新シャシーはインディアナポリスのダラーラファクトリーで組み立てられ、エンジンは日産製４L自然吸気エンジンからアドバンスドエンジンリサーチ製の２Lターボエンジンになります。
そして、2015年シリーズチャンピオンは2016年の第100回インディ500を含むインディカーシリーズの3レースに参戦することが保障されます。
